“Questions about whether design is necessary or affordable are quite beside the point, design is inevitable. The alternative is good design or bad design, not no design at all.”

JACOB LAWS

SENIOR DESIGNER

BIOGRAPHY
Like most reasonable adults, my parents disciplined me when I began drawing on the walls at an early age. That is, until they realized it was more than scribbling: I was creating. They realized I had talent. From then on, I was frequently exposed to all forms of art. After graduating majoring in art with a focus in art history, this passion of mine evolved into more than a handful of successful ventures. My goal is to create aesthetically beautiful, innovative and functional living/dwelling spaces by imparting my personal style and utilizing my creative instincts. I ensure truly dynamic results that translate into simply good design.

“STYLE/DESIGN QUOTE”...

Jacob's designs are classic with a modern edge and clean-cut with impossibly sophisticated style. The juxtaposition of old and new, traditional and contemporary create visual interest and contribute to creating a refined, collected aesthetic. His inspiration gained from art, travel, fashion, culture, and history influence his passion for creating spaces that are stylish and have a distinctive point of view. His designs transcend trends and create living environments that work with the dynamics of a contemporary lifestyle.

BIOGRAPHY
Design by definition is to create, execute, or construct according to plan. My attraction and appreciation for art and color is what led me to pursue a career in interior design. I studied and received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design at the University of Central Missouri. My passion is assisting clients with creating a new space for them to call home. I believe interior design is a creation of color and skillful planning by pulling a client's lifestyle into a room. My promise is not only to provide my clients with my personal best through energy and excitement but also to create a design that is theirs and theirs alone.

“STYLE/DESIGN QUOTE”...

I believe when anyone is describing their personal design style, a lot of reflection of ones self plays a huge part in what you love and what you have an appreciation for. I love mixing different styles and textures that helps create a look that is more personal to me. I have an appreciation for a lot of different styles which is why I would describe myself as eclectic.

MELISSA LINDQUIST

SENIOR DESIGNER

BIOGRAPHY
I realized my passion for this industry when I began taking Interior Design classes in high school. From there, I chose to pursue my Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Southeast Missouri State University. Throughout my experience in working as a designer, and designing interiors for my clients, what I have come to value the most is their reaction when they see it all completed! I believe any interior space should reflect the family that it supports. I want my clients to be able to live comfortably with their new interior space we have created together.

“STYLE/DESIGN QUOTE”...
My personal style is one of combination between comfort and tranquility. I enjoy infusing neutrals and textures to create visual interest and simple complexity. I believe accessories are the finishing touches of a space, the “jewelry”…you can transform a space by adding a few key pieces in all the right places. I would, in one word, describe my personal style as transitional, which can mean many things to many different people, but for me, it means creating a space that can grow with a family or lifestyle, ability to add a traditional piece and/or a contemporary piece and it still works together and is a unique space never to be recreated.

SHELLY WALKER

DESIGNER

BIOGRAPHY
I am very proud to have achieved my bachelor’s degree in Interior Design at Texas Tech University. I have had wonderful opportunities working for prestigious firms in Dallas and Austin, TX. I worked in a team environment making complete residential finish selections from the foundation stage of construction to placing the last accessory in a home. Through my experience, I have learned about time management, prioritizing, and execution. From customizing kitchen cabinets to selecting grout colors, I believe every step requires complete attention to detail. With the use of AutoCAD, renderings and detailed schedules, I am here to help my client’s visualize their dream space and transform that dream into reality.

Seamless implementation in the delivery of ideas from concepts to reality is not only my focus but my promise. I value the importance of time, budget and satisfaction. I strive to exceed expectations and collaborate for the benefit of my clients. I am committed to establishing a long lasting relationship with each and every client by maintaining the highest levels of professionalism, honesty and integrity.

“STYLE/DESIGN QUOTE”...
I enjoy an eclectic space that fuses two or more styles together. Combining old and new elements to blend the senses of familiarity and the unexplored creates an inviting and invigorating atmosphere.
